You guys… I can officially say that I’ve graduated college! These last four years have absolutely FLOWN by, and I just keep thinking to myself, “what all was I doing?”. Seriously. It’s been the biggest flash ever, and a part of me wishes I had more time there, but I’m so excited for a fresh start. Although I’ll be home over the summer, I start graduate school in August in Chicago and I literally can.not.wait!
I’m sad to be leaving my friends and family behind, but I just can’t contain my excitement… I’ve visited the city a couple of times over the past few months, and I fall more in love each time. There’s just so many opportunities there – particularly for what I’m interested in – and I can’t think of a better place to begin this new journey!
In the meantime, I of course can only think about curating the best wardrobe for my new adventure, and this gorgeous halter dress is a great start! I picked it up from Francesca’s a few weeks back, and at first I was unsure, but now I have so many plans for this dress! I actually wore it to my pre-graduation party, and it was a big hit!
I absolutely love the embroidered detail on the dress and halter necklines are my new thing – as evidenced in this post! Also, these earrings are amazing (currently a steal at $20 and in two other colors). I purchased them over spring break from Banana Republic, and while the color scheme is blue, I’ve been able to wear them with so many other colors! I wore them with a pink halter top for my birthday last week!
I’ve also had this denim jacket from Levi’s since probably junior year of high school, and it’s one of my favorite pieces to pull out during summertime! Although I’ll probably have this one for years, I’ve been thinking of investing in a darker color, like this one. What do you think?!
Dress: Francesca’s (similar) // Jacket: Levi’s // Earrings: Banana Republic (they’re currently $20 & come in 2 other colors!!) // Heels: Dolce Vita (old)
ugh i love a denim jacket over a white dress! ….well anything really haha you look adorable!!
