One Of My Favorite, Affordable Brands

You guys… I am SO excited for today’s post (and two other’s coming in the future)! You all know how much I love dresses – they’re seriously one of my favorite things to wear. But as someone who is always saying they don’t have enough dresses (which is certainly not true), I was beyond ecstatic when Tobi reached out to me for a collaboration! I was freaking out so much that for a few days I was telling my friends about it, but would always include: “I think it’s fake, though.” Seriously… I did NOT believe it!

I’ve been shopping at Tobi since my freshman year of high school (so for five years), and I’ve always viewed them as a go-to for trendy pieces, but also pieces that’ll be in your closet for a while. I was wearing the same purple tank dress from them up until last year when the strap finally broke :/ (plus, they offer 50% off your first order – right up a college student’s alley)!

I know the dress in today’s post will be the exact same. I’m extremely drawn to solid colors over prints most of the time because I feel they’re more timeless, and won’t go out of style as fast. I also thought that it might be nice to switch it up and try this gorgeous burgundy color, as I don’t own much in the red family at all. The cute, side cutouts were a major bonus, as well!

The dress is a bit long on me, but all I did was pull the straps up and safety pin them in the back, and voila – it’s now the perfect length! It’ll be so perfect for all those summer dinners, parties, and just overall for exploring the city…. white chucks, anyone?

I also received these gorgeous sandals as a birthday gift, and I cannot take them off! They’re seriously so stylish and super comfortable. In fact, I spontaneously just walked several miles in them today, and would definitely recommend you pick up a pair!
