There are several basics that I believe every woman should have – a go-to black blazer, plain v-neck, and comfortable, yet stylish black heels. All of those are encompassed in this outfit.
I love to wear dresses and skirts, but there’s nothing more timeless than a blazer and jeans. I feel like it’s an outfit that never fails and one that can be styled in so many different ways.
When I brought these jeans home a few months ago, I wondered why I had purchased them – especially with the rips. I had never owned ripped jeans in my life, and immediately thought I was going to regret it. However, as I’ve gotten older and tried to develop my style, I’ve also gained confidence in trying new things that I wouldn’t have tried before. I tried them on with a few different outfits and knew that they were the right choice. I’ve worn them several times and they’re very versatile… I feel like I say everything is versatile, but when you think about it… why wouldn’t you buy items that could be paired with so many choices?!
I’m also a huge fan of these sandals. I bought them last summer during a Zara sale, but the strap was too tight across my toes and I NEVER wore them. However, I thought to get the strap loosened this summer, and it was the best idea ever. I wear them all the time now, and with EVERYTHING. I just wore them this weekend, actually, and I’m planning on wearing them today! I also own another similar pair of ankle strap sandals, but I love these because they’re so simple and plain.
