I know, you’ve seen this shirt before. So I must admit that whenever I find something that I absolutely love, I wear it a ton! You last saw it in this post, when I paired it with one of my favorite skirts and go-to leather jackets. I spotted it in Nordstrom Rack a while back, and knew I wasn’t leaving without it. I think striped shirts are so chic, and the fit on this one is amazing. It has just the right amount of looseness, and the fabric is so, so soft!
In the winter time I mostly paired it with black booties, but now that the temperature is heating up, of course I gravitate towards black, strappy sandals (and you know how much I love those).I’m also obsessed with this denim shirt that I purchased from Urban Outfitter’s a few years back, and decided to tie it around my waist to make the look even more casual. I’ve actually never done that before, but I think it looks awesome. I’m always looking for ways to switch up outfits, and this is a winner!I also have to point out these pants. I had been wanting some army green pants for a super long time, but every pair I tried on was an epic failure (similar to my never-ending journey for white jeans). Enter GAP. Before I started blogging, I never even realized how many pairs of my jeans are from Gap… like seriously.
I have so many pairs because it’s the only place where I can buy pants that fit me exactly how I want… and I’m very particular. I’m extremely picky about the fit of the ankle – which my mom thinks is weird – but they have to be super, super tight or else I won’t buy them. Gap never disappoints.
Although I was skeptical about the pockets, I convinced myself it added some extra oomph, and here they are!
Anyways, back to the shirt. There’s an extra bonus. It’s not just a striped shirt…It’s a striped shirt with cutouts, and who doesn’t love cutouts?
What’s your go-to piece?
Shirt: Nordstrom (similar here/ sorry, no cutouts) // Jeans: Gap // Denim Shirt: Urban Outfitters // Heels: Zara (similar) // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff
