I recently purchased Louise Roe’s new book, Front Roe, and one of the chapters focuses on cleaning out your closet of things you haven’t worn – or purging, as I’ve been calling it – and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing… while simultaneously (and probably not recommended) adding to it. So here’s a few things that I’ve gotten/hope to buy so far.
Shoes:
-I was browsing Piperlime right before it was set to close, and I stumbled upon the most gorgeous embellished sandals from Dune London and they disappeared before I could purchase them. SO, like any crazed person, I searched the internet high and low for similar ones, and fate had it so that I found these. I’ve been wearing them non-stop ever since. This color is sold out, but they’re still available in black (which I contemplated purchasing) and I’ve linked to similar ones that I love here and here (both are amazing).
-I think I’ve been having a thing with Enzo Angiolini because I just purchased these last week. Unfortunately, they’re much brighter than I anticipated, but I think I can make them work. But I have to admit, I’ve been debating whether to return them and snag these Jessica Simpson sandals up, instead?
-Okay, so J.Crew had a big sale over the Memorial Day weekend and tons of people purchased these white slides! I went into the store today and tried them on and fell in love – but ultimately didn’t get them. Because they hurt… and I hadn’t even begun walking. And I sent them to several people and all of them said they’re old lady-ish? But, they were 50% off + student discount and seem like a can’t pass up… so maybe I’ll go back. What do you think?
Bags:
–This is why you should never listen to old people – more specifically your parents. My mom texted me the other day saying there was a Celine bag on & Other Stories for $245 (?!?!?!?!!!??? *cue side eye). I knew it was fishy, but raced to check it out anyways. Of course, we later find out it was listed as an alternative to a Celine bag… of course. But, it’s a pretty good option if I do say so myself.
-Rebecca Minkoff has the best handbags (see my pretty blue in the picture above :)) and I need this one – in this exact color – to be restocked immediately.
So, happy shopping, friends! Let me know if you get anything good!
Ugh I hate that, when you know a deal is tooo good to be true it just cannot be!

Exactly! I’ve bought enough painful shoes to last me a lifetime – don’t need anymore!
