If I could type this post in all caps without being obnoxious I totally would, because I am THAT EXCITED ABOUT THIS DRESS! Seriously. Like indescribably happy. If you follow me on snapchat (username: oliverstwistt), then you already got a sneak peak because I couldn’t contain my happiness!
I know you’ve probably seen the Ann Taylor Amalfi Dress on many different bloggers, but I spotted this palm print dress in late May-early June when Ann Taylor announced their new arrivals (the print also comes in this super cute skirt for less than $30!). However, being a recent graduate means I couldn’t afford the $160 price tag, so I said forget it. But let me tell you my friends, patience is a virtue. After waiting for nearly two months, I finally purchased this for 60% off and I’ve been on cloud nine since! The even better news is that it’s currently on sale for less than $55 (slightly cheaper than what I paid), and available in all sizes. If you know what’s good for you, you’d head there immediately… but after you finish the post LOL!
I’m obsessed with everything palm print (which blogger isn’t? lol), and haltered necklines are totally my thing lately – so it’s a match made in heaven right?! I’ve also been looking for a midi dress for the longest, and I love where it falls. For us shorter girls, finding the perfect length can be super tough, so I was grateful no alterations needed to be made to my palm print dress.
There’s still a whole lot of summer left, so I’m pulling this dress out whenever I can. I’ve also figured out places to wear it when I move to Chicago!
