Happy Monday, everyone! This past week has been pretty relaxing with not a lot of action, as I just graduated one week and two days ago! This week, however, I want to completely organize all of my clothing and get rid of everything I don’t wear, and also try to start saving money for Chicago!
As much as I love a killer pair of heels and a pretty summer dress, they’re obviously not practical for everyday. So during the day I’m usually dressed a lot more casual. Enter today’s ensemble: a cute grey sweatshirt (really loving this IVY PARK one), a striped tee, olive denim, and a comfortable pair of sandals for
walking shopping.
I wore this over the weekend to attend our Asian Festival with my mom! The weather was slightly chilly, so I was glad I threw on this sweatshirt with one of my favorite striped tees.I originally just had on the sweatshirt, but threw on the tee to make the look a bit more chic… I mean honestly, you can never go wrong with stripes! I’ve also had this brown tote for a while, and it’s seriously the best! I feel like the color goes with almost anything, and I treat it like my kitchen sink. It was perfect for carrying around the festival to hold all of the flyers and items that I purchased. Totally recommend!
On another note, since I’m in full summer mode, I’ve been brainstorming some super fun ideas for the blog, and just thinking of new ways to make it better overall! In fact, these photos were my first attempt at using Lightroom! I’ve been using the editing features in Photos for Mac, but now I’m totally hooked on Lightroom. If anyone is in need of a tutorial, I definitely suggest this one by Alicia. I followed it for the first few photos, and now it’s become so much easier!
Sweatshirt: Nordstrom // Jeans: GAP (similar) // Shoes: old (identical) // Tote: Wilson’s Leather (similar) // Sunglasses: Versace (so obsessed!!)
This is the perfect chill week end outfit! Loving the pants!

Thanks so much, Tamara! I’ve had the pants for quite a while, and I’ve gotten so much use out of them!!
Loving this entire look! This is the most chic, casual look I’ve ever seen:)!

Thank you, Julianna! I’m definitely thinking of showing more casual looks!!
I’m so loving this casual chic look – I feel like I could live in this outfit! And yay for using Lightroom! Every blogger edits their photos differently, I actually like to lower my shadows to create a lot of contrast. Hope that helps!

Thank you, I’m totally about comfort lately! And I love the sunglasses too, but I’m actually going to take out the lenses to make them my everyday glasses!
