Today’s post makes me feel like I’m truly going back to my roots: an all-black ensemble. For those of you who have been around for a while, you know that black is my favorite color to wear. Something about the color just feels so chic (while also being very slimming), and I love that you can pair it with literally anything. I’ve been told so many times that I buy too much black (#cantstopwontstop), but it will always be my go-to option! Amongst my favorite black pieces is a little black dress. I decided to update last summer’s little black dress to this one.
I was scrolling through Lulu’s right before graduation trying to find the perfect dress for my cocktail hour. When I saw this dress I knew it would be perfect, but wasn’t so sure that it was proper for the occasion. I actually ended up wearing this exact outfit (seriously head-to-toe), but because I can’t turn down a cute little black dress – I ended up keeping it! I can’t believe this – but my friend Natalie would shop at Lulu’s all the time and I would just ignore her. Now it’s my new spot!
