Recharged

gap jeans 8Happy Hump Day, everyone! Today means there’s only two more days until the weekend… and then that marks only one week left until I return to school! I know I’ve said it over and over, but this summer has absolutely flown by and I’m not sure how I feel about it!gap jeans 3This is truly something I would describe as bittersweet. On one hand, I’m really excited to get back to see and be with all of my friends, and really enjoy my last year of college! But on the other hand, I’m extremely nervous and apprehensive about my closing such an important chapter of my life, and moving onto an even more scarier and challenging one (AKA actual adulthood)!

When you’re a kid that’s all you wish for – growing up so that you can do all of these fabulous, adult things – until you realize that it’s much easier being a child and not having to make such important life decisionsgap jeans 6gap jeans 7With all of that on my mind, it’s only necessary to do things that make me happy and allow for me to recharge. Enter: shopping (for shoes, to be exact.) A few weeks back I took a much needed trip to DSW and found these amazing sandals! We all know how I’m on a detox from purchasing black, strappy, sandals – but these are beige, strappy sandals… so technically I still win!

What makes it even sweeter is that they were only $25! I was a bit apprehensive at first, but with the added motivation of a coupon decided that I couldn’t leave without them.gap jeans 2I’ve worn them several times this summer, and love that they go with almost everything. The only downside is that they’re slightly uncomfortable after a bit of walking, so I would definitely just stick to dinner and drinks if you’re thinking of purchasing them (which you absolutely should be)!

Hope you guys have a wonderful Wednesday! Doesn’t getting older kind of suck sometimes?

You are gorgeous!! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog 🙂 Where do you go to school? And yes getting older is certainly overwhelming at some points, amazing, but definitely overwhelming. Especially if you are an i-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t woman in today’s world 😉
