Spring Break is officially over, and I’m already missing it. I drove home and also took a quick trip to Chicago, so most of my time was spent by indulging in some good retail therapy! This cute little free people tunicย was one of my first purchases, and I absolutely love it. But let me tellย you… this dress that I love so much put me through one of the most embarrassing moments ever!ย
When I was debating on whether to purchase it, I asked the sales woman if it was a tunic or dress and she informed me that it was a tunic, BUT that I was short enough to wear it as a dress. Of course I listened to her against my instincts, and as I was already out of the door to shoot the outfit, I quickly realized THIS IS NOT TO BE WORN AS A DRESS!
I arrived at our location and of course it was the windiest day ever, and just as Katie begins to shoot, the wind blows the tunic all the way up and a large family walked by seeing everything! You guys, it was so embarrassing haha! And this continued the entire shoot until we found this little nook. People definitely got a show I was not selling tickets to haha!
Anyways, moving forward I know that something needs to be worn underneath. I would love to say this is the first time this has happened, but I was unaware that the lace cutouts on this free people tunic hit at the wrong places and didn’t know I needed shorts LOL!
Now, I’m thinking I’ll wear this free people tunic with my trusty crop white jeans and these stunning heels. You live and you learn, people! ๐
