Top Three Fall Makeup Products

As you know, this year I’ve been trying to incorporate more beauty content into this blog, and I’m pretty proud of the progress I’ve made thus far! Some of my top posts have been introducing you to Oway Organics – an organic and clean haircare line – and sharing my favorite products for moisturized skin.

Today I’m back with some of my fall makeup favorites! It’s been very recently that I’ve started to take an interest in makeup and invest in more products, as I used to know nothing about makeup LOL. I wore the same eyeshadow for like a year! Not that I know everything now, but I thought it would still be fun to share the three things I’ve been loving this season.

Tarte Dream Big Palette

This Tarte Dream Big Palette is the absolute best! I purchased it during the Ulta sale and have been using it nonstop. I’m not really into bold colors and think that gold/bronze colors look the best on me, so of course I’m obsessed. I also love that there’s not a ton of colors that inevitably always go to waste, and the majority of the colors are ones that I use on the regular! I mean, how pretty are these?! It’s my first product from Tarte, and I think the $30 price tag is definitely worth it.

bareMinerals Tinted Moisturizer

Next up is this bareMinerals Tinted Moisturizer. I squeezed out the very last drop of my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer a few weeks ago, and wanted to switch it up. I’ve never worn foundation or anything else because I feel like it’s too heavy on my face and looks cakey, so I love that a tinted moisturizer provides just enough coverage and feels lightweight.

One of the factors in choosing this product was that it’s $29, compared to $45 for Laura Mercier. The other reason is that the application is super smooth, and a little goes a long way. Surprisingly, I feel like this one provides a bit more coverage than LM, which I really love. However, if you do purchase, I’d be sure to double check with a specialist to match your color. Apparently, this one has super yellow undertones, and the color I initially thought matched most certainly did not haha.

I’ve also been obsessing over bareMinerals products in general, and scooped up two of their buttercream lip glosses (so amazing), and the radiant lipstick which lasts forever (seriously… fell asleep in it over Halloween and it was still there LOL)!

Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

The last product I’ve been loving this season is Loreal’s Volumnious Lash Paradise mascara. I was using a sample of the Gucci mascara (the most amazing one ever), but didn’t feel like shelling out $35, so opted for this one instead! I had heard lots of good things about it, so figured I’d give it a try.

The verdict is that I actually really like it! I feel like you definitely notice a difference after application and it’s pretty thick. The only issue I have is that I wish the applicator was a bit thinner. After it’s gone, I’ll most likely splurge on the Gucci mascara because it seriously is the best one ever. But for now, this one is a great budget buy at just $8!
