The Importance of Saying Thank You (+ A Giveaway)

Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with paper products. Seriously… obsessed. As I write this, there are three planners and two notebooks on my desk. Do I need all of those? No, but they sure do look pretty!

A little while back I went to the Randolph Street Market (which is so awesome, by the way if you’re in Chicago), and stumbled upon Jill Ruzicka and her extremely cute paper company, Hello Paper Co.Wrapping paper, pencils, greeting cards and other cute products were all on display and I loved every single thing!

The things that most stood out to me were the gorgeous thank you cards. Some of my fondest memories are of my mom sending thank you cards at various points throughout the year – especially during the holidays – to all of her friends and family, and it was engrained in me to send personal notes to people as a kind gesture. I often send notes just to tell people I’m thinking of them, because who doesn’t want to know that someone cares?

However, the most common thing I send is thank you cards – whether it be after receiving a gift, after an interview, after a networking event, etc. Not only is it polite, but it’s very meaningful to others when you thank them for their kindness. Therefore, I’m always on the hunt for cute cards and the ones from Hello Paper Co. are my favorite by far! I love that the material is super thick so that they won’t damage in the mail, and I’m all about the brown envelope aesthetic. Another perk is that there’s the perfect amount of writing space. All too often I find myself running out of room because the card is too small.

You can check out more of the Hello Paper Co. products here – and the best part is that Jill was kind enough to offer one of my readers a complete set of greeting cards! Just head to my Instagram at 10 a.m. CST for all of the details 🙂

Couldn’t agree more, Amber and thanks so much!! The one thing I definitely need to work on is the stamps because I never have them and always have to rush to the post office last minute hahah!

How adorable are these cards?! I admittedly am the worst with thank you notes, and it’s something I’m actively trying to work on and get better at. Definitely going to check out this brand! (PS – I love the Randolph Street Market – it’s one of my favorite places to shop in Chicago, especially in the summer!)
    Isn’t That Charming.

Thank you, Emily! It’s definitely a hard thing to remember when you’re so busy, but I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it 🙂 And I’m glad you like the brand! The market is one of my favorites, too – but now I’m so excited to check it out in the summer!
