The Perfect Top For Summer

Happy Monday, you guys! What have you been up to? It was a pretty good weekend… a trip to the ER and seeing Hamilton all within a few hours, so I certainly can’t complain LOL! Have any of you seen it? If so, what did you think? Of course I had heard of the play, but never actually knew what it was about until I saw it! And I must say that the soundtrack definitely lives up the hype because it is just so amazing… I’m downloading it immediately!

After seeing that, my family and I went to lunch and walked around the city for a bit, so it was nice! Speaking of exploring, you guys know I love to explore Chicago, so I’m always wearing outfits that are multifunctional – meaning I can wear them walking around during the day and can then head straight to drinks afterwards! Is this striped bell sleeve top not the perfect definition of that?

I picked it up from LOFT a few weeks back (it’s still available in all sizes!), and have loved it! I’ve talked about my love for bell sleeve tops before, and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. I’m also a sucker for anything striped, so this striped bell sleeve top was a match made in heaven!

I’ve also been trying to diversify my shoe game because I have WAYYYY too many heels that I just can’t/don’t wear anymore, and have been needing to think more practically. I spotted these Vince Camuto sandals on sale and immediately snatched them up! They’re extremely comfortable, and can be worn for hours. In fact, over Memorial Day weekend I wore them about all day and zero problems. Don’t you just love when that happens?! To top it off, I’m super obsessed with the lace up trend, and just love how these tie up in the back!

Well, here’s to a fast week because I am worn out!!

Striped bell sleeve top: LOFT // Jeans: Old Navy // Shoes: Vince Camuto Jeneve Sandal (currently 40% off!) // Purse: Old Navy (old, identical) // Earrings: Nordstrom (wear these basically every single day)

Thanks a lot, Amy! I never really wear red, but I love it with this top! And yes… I was so dramatic, but it just went vertigo that has gone away now! LOL

Thanks so much, Tina! It’s one of my favorite tops! And I’ve had a sinus infection for over a month, and I was so dizzy and faint – but turns out it’s led to vertigo! nothing super serious though 🙂

I completely agree! I always tell my friends that I’ve only seen like 5% of the things in this city! And thank you – so glad you like it!

I just love that top! The color looks amazing on you. I’m on my way loft. I know exactly what you mean by uncomfortable heels. I have way too many. I’m in the market for comfort too. I also heard Hamilton is an excellent play and the music is fantastic. I hope to see before the year ends!!!! Have a great week.
