How I’m Wearing Cute & Conscious Clothing

While I love cozying up in warm, oversized sweaters and leggings during the colder months, when spring and summer roll around – cute little dresses are my jam! As I’ve mentioned in the past, high neckline and halter dresses are two of my favorite silhouettes, and this NOVAA number is no exception.

I’ve introduced you guys to NOVAA on several occasions (seen here and here), and they’re one of my favorite online boutiques in the Chicago area! The girls are so sweet, and always have the cutest clothes! The best part, however, is that they’re an ethical fashion line – meaning the clothes are either ethically sourced abroad, or made right here at home! I love how they prove that you can be conscious of your clothing, but still keep up with fashion trends, too.

Anyways, I was particularly drawn to this dress because of the pretty floral print, gorgeous teal color and halter neckline! Doesn’t get any better than that, right? The material is so light and airy, and is perfect for those warm, summer nights. On this particular day, however, it was pretty chilly, so I opted for my favorite denim jacket. Believe it or not, I’ve had this jacket since my junior of high school… isn’t that crazy? Totally speaks to the quality of the Levi’s brand!

I also picked up these gorgeous Schutz heels a while back, and they’re one of my favorite pairs! While they’re not the easiest to walk in, the pretty cognac color goes with everything and is the perfect touch to an outfit!

What are your go-to pieces during the summer?

Dress: c/o NOVAA // Jacket: Levi’s (old, similar) // Heels: Schutz (similar) // Earrings: Francesca’s

This post is in partnership with NOVAA. All opinions are my own.
